We invite you to contribute to our Tompkins Weekly column
We at Sustainable Finger Lakes (SFLX) warmly invite you to share your knowledge, observations, information, and thoughts about topics and events relevant to our Signs of Sustainability (SoS) column in Tompkins Weekly.
Articles can be anything related to sustainability, which includes:

- systems thinking and design
- diversity, equity and inclusion
- environmental issues
- regenerative agriculture
- social justice
- food security
- energy policy
- waste reduction
- living with resilience
- local events
- and more
Thought pieces are also welcome to help our community think together about critical issues.
Tompkins Weekly asks us to keep articles to either a maximum of 600 words with a photo, or a maximum of 800 words with no photo. Please include a brief author bio. Our SoS series is published the second Wednesday of each month, the article is due by the end of the Thursday before.
If you are not comfortable writing but would like to get your event/idea out there, there is the option to be interviewed by committee volunteers.
Also as SFLX broadens our reach regionally we are inviting people to be part of our Resilience Committee organizers. The focus of this committee is to support SoS and to plan and host cafe style gatherings in the near future.
