Making Downtown Ithaca More Sustainable Together!
Since 2009, the Neighborhood Mini-Grant Program by Sustainable Finger Lakes (SFLX) has helped fund 9 incredible projects that have made our downtown more vibrant and sustainable! 🌱✨
These grants help turn community members’ ideas into impactful realities. What ideas do you have for our community? 💡
🌿 A Few Examples of Projects We’ve Funded:
🚴 Downtown Ithaca Alliance: A bike repair station with tools, air pumps & stands.
🌱 La Marketa: An indoor market offering healthy, local foods to disenfranchised populations.
🌎 Open Doors English: English as a Second Language classes (ESL), building local economic equity and including education on environmental sustainability.
