Exciting things are happening at Caroline Elementary School! After two years without updates, TC3 student Austin Gaffey and teacher Jenny Emerson received a Neighborhood Mini-Grant from Sustainable Finger Lakes (SFLX) and are teaming up to breathe new life into the school’s vegetable garden. 🥕🌽
This project includes adding fresh soil and mulch to prepare for a thriving growing season and lays the groundwork for future sustainability efforts, like food waste composting. To support this initiative, the grant will help fund the supplies.
