🌿 The Friends of Lansing Center Trail – Garden Signs🌿
Last April, the Friends of the Lansing Center Trail received a Neighborhood Mini-Grant from Sustainable Finger Lakes (SFLX) to create beautiful new signage for the native plant garden at the trail entrance.
✨ The project began with two horticulturists identifying the plants growing in the garden. To ensure accuracy, a team member worked with a native plant expert from The Plantsmen Nursery to refine the IDs and highlight the ecological importance of these plants.
🌱 As volunteers worked in the garden, they have been so grateful for all the kind compliments! We hope the new signs enhance the experience for everyone, making the garden a place to learn, appreciate, and connect with native plants.
