On Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at 1:00pm, fenceline and environmental justice groups from around the country will be joining together on a livestream to call on President Biden and his Administration to stop issuing permits for new and expanding petrochemical facilities – and we’re hoping for broad, movement-wide support in this ask.
Here’s how you can help:
1. Sign this petition to President Biden. It’s important that we get as many signatures as possible. Share the petition with your friends using this link: bit.ly/StopPetrochemNow
2. RSVP for the livestream! Frontline groups and allied organizations around the country will be rising up on October 26h and sharing their actions live on YouTube. Join them virtually or in-person to learn directly from those living next to massive petrochemical facilities, pipelines, and extraction sites.
3. Share “Voices from the Fenceline” Videos on your socials! Voices From The Fenceline is a series featuring leaders from Cancer Alley, Louisiana who support this action asking the Biden admin to stop the petrochem buildout. We invite you to utilize the films in your socials to push your respective communities to the petition action. Click here for access to download the films!
