About six years ago, residents of Hoosick Falls, NY learned that their drinking water was contaminated with toxic PFAS chemicals. Soon other communities, from Newburgh to the Hamptons, also discovered PFAS in their water, which spurred a powerful local movement to restore and protect drinking water.

During this session, you’ll learn all about PFAS (Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), the push to expand drinking water testing for these cancer-causing chemicals, and how you can take meaningful action on the issue.
