On Friday, June 11, 2021, at 7:00pm, Ithaca Asian American Association is holding the Perspectives 360 Film Festival. Keeping with the “Virus has no Nationality“ campaign (created in response to recent hate-crimes against Asian-Americans), IAAA encourages you to “be bold and brave in challenging issues of racism, sexism, xenophobia, ableism, heterosexism, classism, and all -isms.”
No need to be a professional filmmaker!
Rules for entries:
- Films must be 3-5 minutes in length.
- Films can be of any genre (documentary, music video, animation, Vlog, etc).
- Films can be created on mobile devices or digital camera.
- Films content must align with the theme and feature a special prop, “a mask”.
- Film must be submitted on FilmFreeway no later than May 31, 2021.
Prizes and Awards include:
- Six $500 Scholarship Funds for best high school and college students’ submissions.
- Ten $100 Gift Certificates to local eateries and businesses for best general submission.
